DARBY
(pictures coming)

03-02 87 VEVV

Darby, born 04/20/2005 is simply a stunning powerhouse of a doe with almost perfect dairy and breed character.  She was bought sight unseen, based on  pedigree alone.   With a pedigree like hers we jumped when Tim Pruitt so kindly offered her to us.  She defines a foundation doe.  Her dam SGCH Pruittville's Huckleberry is a rare find in a doe being very long, tall and extremly powerful.  She placed 3rd place with 2nd place udder as a 4 year old at the National Show. And has a final LA score of 92 EEEE.  Darby's sire, Pruittville's Dr. Luke, 91 EEE was a large buck that excelled in general appearance  being long and level over the top line, very smoothly blended throughout.  He had tremendous width across the loin and over the rump. He had great spring of rib, excellent shoulders, coupled with great dairy character and beautiful breed character. He was also very wide and open in the escutcheon.   Darby is so much like her Dam and SIre, truly defining the Nubian breed.  Darby's only weekness is with her teats, although wonderful teats for handmilking, they are a bit too large for the show circuit.  We are confident that our breeding choices will correct this and are keeping a daughter from her each and every year as she will be the foundation of this herd.

2008 Show wins
3 X 1st
 2 X 2nd
1 X 3rd

Darby spent the 2009 show season bred.
She delivered a beautiful doeling on August 23rd that will be retained.

SARAH  (2 Champion Legs)
(pictures coming)

Sarah, Born 12/01/05 is one of my favorite does.  She is always a lady and truly defines the term elegant.  I haven't had the privilege to meet many goats like Sarah, she is always sweet, friendly and easy going.  We often say she is the Princess Diana of goats.  Sarah,  is uphill with beautiful general appearance, being very dairy and sharp in the withers.  She milks from a beautiful mammary that is very high and wide in the rear, has a smoothly extended fore with lots of overall attachment. Her Dam, Pruittville's Applesauce 90 VEVE is the type of doe we are striving to breed and Sarah is a replica of her. Her sire,  Pruittvile's Huckleberry Finn, is a very large, very docile buck. His dam,  SGCH Pruittville's Huckleberry  is a rare find in a doe being very long, tall and extremly powerful.  She placed 3rd place with 2nd place udder as a 4 year old at the National Show. And has a final LA score of 92 EEEE. His littermate sister, CH Pruittville's Huckberry Frost 91 VEEE  is a lovely doe with a very nice udder. Huck's first kids were very correct and have done well in the show ring. At the 2006 ADGA National Show three of Huck's daughters were 3rd, 4th, and 5th place Junior Yearlings.

         MAGGIE

LA 02-06    VEVE  88

Maggie, born 12/07/2005 is a strong bodied, big boned American Yearling that comes from a line of powerhouse milkers.  We couldn't be happier with her temperament and expressiveness.   Maggie's Dam,  Slate woods Jazmyne earned her 5*M on her first lactation.  This doe is the easiest keeper on the farm and a joy to milk either by hand or machine.

MOLLY

LA  02-06  +E+V 86
Molly, born 12/07/05 is Maggie's twin and has her same strength and size. Maggie and Molly are exceptional in their traditional dairy appearance.  Molly is a love, so when you visit the farm expect her to be first in line for attention.  Molly, like her sister has a beautiful udder with simply outstanding attachment.  Both Maggie and Molly are extremly healthy, hardy, easy keepers.  They both look and milk just like their Dam and Grand Dam.
Molly will not be shown in 2009 due to an injury

      ERIN (one champion leg)

LA 02-03 +VVV 86, First freshener

Erin, born 03/25/06 was our first "baby", she joined us when she was 5 days old.  Together, we learned about bottle feeding, bloat, disbudding and the love of a Nubian Kid.  Her excellent bloodlines show in her appearance and we are absolutely thrilled with the kids she threw.  Her udder as a FF is just gorgeous both high and wide.  She is the adventurer of the group, always the first to try anything new and a herd queen.

2009 Show wins:

3 X 1st
4 X 2nd
1 X 3rd

     ANNA (2 Champion Legs)

Anna, born February 19, 2007 was an exceptional Doeling, and she has turned into the most gorgeous doe!  Tall, large body capacity, level and very dairy.  We were thrilled to be able to have her and will always be thankful to Les Sensing of Hagler Farms for allowing us the opportunity to raise, breed and show this doe.  She had a great first season in the show ring going Grand once and Reserve twice.  2009 was even better!  She is playful, affectionate and quickly became a favorite around here!  Her Dam,
Infinity Tilda Magda is a beautiful doe with a gorgeous head and her Sire, Goldthwaite Magic Man is a big, strong, very dairy buck.

2009 Show Wins:
