Fiona
Sarah X Tamatrix

Fiona, born 04.01.08 was one of those kids that you decide to keep while drying them off.  Flashy, long and extremly correct.  Fiona easily earned her dry leg at her second show.  She spent the entire show season at the top of her class trading places with her littermate sister Clare.

~Fiona has been bred to Nevada Joe for early spring kids~

2009 Show Season:

Fiona did not show often in 2009 as we only dragged her into the ring when we needed her to help make number as she earned her dry leg as a 4 month old in 2008...however, the 3 times she did join us unclipped she was 2nd and 3rd and 4th.

Clare
Sarah X Tamatrix

Clare, born 04.01.08 is a miniature version of her dam Sarah.  That being said, keeping her was the only option.  Clare was consistently in the top of her class, trading places with her littermate sister Fiona.

2009 Show season

3 X 1st
2 X 2nd
3 X 3rd
1 X 4th

Diedre
Darby X Nevada Joe

Diedre, born 05.19.08 is growing out to be so much like her Dam Darby and that is exactly what we had hoped.  Soon after Darby's arrival we knew she was going to be a foundation doe for our herd and the style doe we would strive to breed. As we watch Diedre grow we are even more confident in that decision.  Being a late spring kid she had a rough start in the show ring but, by the end of the season was regularly placing near the front of the line.

Sophia
TLC-Farms Love Bug X Kastdemur's Viento

Sophia was born on 3.18.09 and spent her first few weeks with her breeder in Texas before taking the trip to join us.  When we finally got to see her and put our hands on her we were thrilled.  What a flashy, beautifully correct doeling and we are even happier that the rest of the herd seems to believe she belongs here.  We can't thank Carolyn Lawson of TLC-Farms enough for allowing us to add this doeling to our show string...not to mention our hearts.

~Sophia will remain dry this year~

Sophia was the 7th place Intermediate Kid at the 2009 North American International Livestock Exposition in Louisville. KY on November 7th....we were so proud of our girl!  It was a VERY large and competitive class.
Other wins during 2009:

3 X 1st
   2 X RJCH
     1 X BJDIS
2 X2nd
1 X3rd
 1 X 5th

Sabrina

SGCH Blissberry's Fashion Show  X  *B Kastdemur's Full Monty

Sabrina was born on 4.12.09 and spent her first six weeks with her breeder in Minnesota before taking the trip to join us.  We had been waiting to see this kid as with the genetics here how could we go wrong!  WOW! is all I can say, first off take a look at the pedigrees behind this doeling, milk records and LA scores and then the doe kid herself ...  What a  beautifully correct doeling, level, wide, adorable ears with just outstanding body capacity.  Thank you Sara Koehn-Walberg of Blissberry Nubians for allowing us to add this doeling to our show string, our farm and our hearts.

Sabrina has not shown alot this season as we are saving her for next year...she is a truly special girl and being born a little later in the season we decided that 2010 would be her year!
Sabrina will remain dry this year.

Teagan
Slate Woods Jaz Jingles AKA MAGGIE  X  CH Price O The Field Beacon

Teagan was born on 5.12.09 and was the smallest of a set of triplets and we knew pretty quick that we wanted to keep her.  We had been waiting for three years for a black kid out of this line and were so thrilled when we got one.  Not only were we blessed with a black doe.  What a  beautifully correct doeling, level, long, wide, adorable frosted, black splotched ears with just outstanding body capacity.  Teagan was one of the few kids we decided to take to the 2009 North American International Livestock Exposition in Louisville, KY and in a very large and competitive class she was 6th!!  We were very proud of her and can not wait to see her as a yearling.

Riley
Pruittville's Plum Pudding AKA DARBY X  CH Price O The Field Beacon

Riley was born on 8.23.09.  We had decided based on the genetics alone that this was a kid be it a doeling or a buckling that would be retained in our herd.  Immediatly we saw a minature Darby... What a  beautifully correct doeling, level, extremly wide, very open escutcheon,  and just that outstanding breed and dairy character that Pruittville and Price O' the Field is known for.  We decided just for fun to take Riley to her first show when she was one (1) week old and entered her into the April 1 - to show date class, needless to say we were stunned when she was second behind our Teagan in a class of 18.  Later on that day she was part of the 1st place Produce of Dam with our Diedre....The following week, she was 1st in the same class out of 11 and the Judge actually asked if she was "for sale"....we think not!
